Currently MedicWare EMR does not work with Palm OS mobile devices.
How many patient charts that can be downloaded to my Pocket PC?
MedicWare EMR doesn't download patient charts into your Pocket PC. It accesses the computerized patient record directly from the MedicWare server utilizing wireless communication, thus you always have the most updated chart information on ALL of your patients.
Are all the features in MedicWare EMR available in Pocket PC?
Most of the MedicWare EMR features, especially charting features, are available on the Pocket PC. In fact, MedicWare EMR is one of a few Pocket PC medical software companies that support full charting capability on Pocket PC devices. However, some MedicWare EMR features such as administrative functions are not available on Pocket PC due to the limited screen size of the Pocket PC.
Does MedicWare EMR support Tablet PCs?
Yes. MedicWare electronic medical record software supports and detects the Tablet PC software automatically.
Is MedicWare EMR compatible with voice recognition software?

Will I be able to access my patient information remotely from my PDA

Yes. Scheduling is quick and easy. Once the patient is scheduled, their chart is automatically placed in the MedicWare electronic medical record system. When the patient arrives at the office for the appointment, you simply indicate the patient's arrival with a simple click of the mouse.
How do I convert my existing paper documents into MedicWare EMR?

Software and database updates are usually done on a quarterly basis. Depending on the type of update, your MedicWare Reseller Partner will provide you with a CD-ROM to install or will update your server remotely. If you are a MedicWare EMR Online user, you will receive updates automatically.
What happens if my software version is no longer current?
It is important that you stay current with MedicWare EMR system updates. With each update, MedicWare can provide you with the most effective system and help you with any application difficulties. It is cost-efficient to keep up with the current updates, as the update fee for outdated versions is higher. Is hiring a technical staff required when purchasing an MedicWare EMR System?
