Data Strategies elligence is a scalable, secure, and compliant healthcare management system, designed for practices, clinics, and billing service providers of virtually any size. elligence helps healthcare providers comply strictly with all relevant HIPAA standards, and allows them to automate.
Typical interfaces between MedicWare and Practice Management System
include:
Billing Export - Sending CPT/ICD codes generated from the patient visit (superbill information) from MedicWare to a practice management system. This eliminates the time and error involved with manual entry.
Demographic Import – Bringing patient names, addresses, telephone numbers, insurance and other demographic information from a practice management system to MedicWare. This allows for easy patient population of MedicWare EMR and eliminates unnecessary double entry of patient demographic information.
Scheduling Import – Bringing scheduled appointments and necessary patient information from your practice management software to MedicWare EMR. Charts for all scheduled patients will be automatically pulled in preparation for patient arrival on the appropriate date.
Laboratory Information Systems
MedicWare can be customized to interface with a laboratory for electronic transfer of orders and results. HL7 interfacing is available for laboratory ordering and result reporting.
